Who We Are
Suzie and Gary Solomon — a husband and wife music duo
Our Story
Suzie and Gary Solomon are a husband and wife music duo who have been performing together since they were married twenty years ago.
Suzie has been playing instruments just about all of her life, so when they got married she taught Gary to play and he joined her.
Together they play most of the stringed folk instruments—guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, upright bass, autoharp, piano, and occasionally accordion and harmonica.
They have performed for schools and senior homes across the nation for many years. They also perform for churches, libraries, festivals, and just about anywhere people gather to listen to music.
Our Goal
Our goal is to reach as many people as possible in order to add a little fun and joy to their lives through the magic of music.
For seniors in care homes, music can be especially powerful. It can improve physical and mental health and plays an important role in establishing social connections. We hope to help bring those benefits to your residents.
Looking Ahead
In addition to our downloadable programs, we care deeply about building community through music. Over the years we’ve offered free music lessons for seniors and created spaces where people can learn, laugh, and make music together.
We’re excited to keep exploring ways to connect generations and bring more shared musical experiences to life.
